Khao
Lak and the Surrounding Area :
Khao Lak has been known as a
very close to nature vacation refuge for some
time. The calm and natural atmosphere makes a
pleasing contrast to many other travel destinations
in Thailand, such as Phuket, or Koh Samui. But
the region has even more to offer than “just”
fine sandy beaches below coconut trees. The nearby
Similan Islands, for example, are known as one
of the top ten diving spots in the world. Diving
and snorkeling trips to the “Similans”, or also
to the Surin Islands are offered daily. One-day
trips to Myanmar (Burma), or to the “James Bond
Island”, as well as the local Phangnga Bay tour
and many more are also part of our program. Head
out to exciting elephant trekking on the mainland,
or visit one of the nearby waterfalls Ton Chong
Fa, Lam Phrao, Hin Lat, or Lam Roo. The Song Phraek
waterfall even offers the opportunity of canoe-rafting.

offered trips and prices kindly contact the front

Information on selected
excursion destinations :
Similan Islands : The
Similan Islands have been declared a marine national
park in the beginning of the 1980's and are a
natural paradise, not only for divers. The nine
uninhabitated and magnificiently green islands
string along, parallel to the shoreline and are
home to many land and marine species. Some beaches
invite for a sunbath in virgin nature, or snorkeling
in shallow waters.
Yet the absolute highlight remains the famous
underwater world, consisting of colorful reefs,
and their inhabitants, such as reef sharks, barracudas,
countless swarm fish, mantas and even whale sharks.
The crystal clear waters, exciting coral-constellations,
openings, and caves at visibility of up to 40
and in a depth of up to 30 meters complete this
gem amongst the diving spots of the world.
