Discover 3 Beautiful Waterfalls in Khao Lak During the Green Season

When the rainy season arrives, Khao Lak transforms into a lush tropical paradise. The Green Season is one of the best times to explore the area,

with cooler temperatures, vibrant landscapes, and waterfalls flowing at their fullest.

If you’re looking for a refreshing day trip during your stay, why not head out and discover some of Khao Lak’s most beautiful waterfalls?

Each one offers a different experience, whether you enjoy swimming, hiking, photography, or simply relaxing in nature.

  1. Ton Chong Fa Waterfall

Perfect for relaxing and enjoying the water:

Located within Khao Lak-Lam Ru National Park, Ton Chong Fa is one of the most popular waterfalls in the area. Surrounded by lush greenery and shaded forest trails, it’s a great place to cool off and enjoy nature at your own pace.

The trail passes several waterfall tiers:

  • Ton Ru (Fish Spa) 500 m
  • Level 1: Ton Mali Ton 1.1 km
  • Level 2: Ton Song Sahai 15 km
  • Level 3: Ton Pha Hin 2 km
  • Level 4: Ton Cho Fa 1.3 km

Not keen on hiking too far? No problem. The lower levels are easily accessible and offer plenty of spots to sit back, listen to the flowing water, and enjoy a refreshing dip.

  1. Ton Phrai Waterfall

Perfect for nature lovers and light adventurers:

Nestled within Khao Lampi-Hat Thai Mueang National Park, Ton Phrai Waterfall is reached via a pleasant 600 meter walk through a peaceful forest trail.

At the end of the path, you’ll find a stunning waterfall cascading down into the heart of the rainforest. The tranquil atmosphere makes it an ideal escape for anyone looking to reconnect with nature and enjoy a quieter side of Khao Lak.

  1. Tam Nang Waterfall

Perfect for photographers and content creators:

If you love capturing beautiful travel moments, Tam Nang Waterfall is well worth a visit. Located in Sri Phang-Nga National Park, the waterfall can be reached via an easy 800 meter walk.

The flowing water, natural rock formations, and surrounding greenery create plenty of picture-perfect spots. Whether you’re taking photos, filming videos, or simply enjoying the scenery, it’s easy to spend a few relaxing hours here.

Before You Go!

A little preparation can make your waterfall adventure even more enjoyable. We recommend wearing comfortable walking shoes and bringing a rain jacket or umbrella, plenty of drinking water, and sunscreen.
